Digital artists: you may use digital sculpting instead of clay for this class.
I have more than 30 years of sculpting experience, and over the past decade, I took part in creating some of Hollywood's most high profile movie monsters
including Ghidorah & Rodan from Godzilla King of Monsters, the Skullcrawler from Kong Skull Island, the Edge of Tomorrow alien,
the Master vampire and other strigoi vampires from the Strain, the kaijus from
Pacific Rim, and many others that I cannot yet tell you about...
In this brand new online class, I will share with you my way of monster & creature design.
I will be teaching this class in traditional clay sculpting, but you're welcome to use either clay or digital medium.
Class Structure:
Every Monday new lecture videos will be unlocked and can be accessed through a private class blog.
You will have access to the videos 24/7 and throughout the duration of the course.
There will be homework assignments for the week, which is due every Thursday night Los Angeles time.
Simon will personally review and provide feedback. If you cannot
finish your homework in-time, you can make it up the week later.
Every Saturday afternoon Los Angeles time, there will be a live chat for the whole to attend (up to one hour)
where Simon will answer any further lecture related questions. For those that cannot
attend the live chat, questions can be submitted separately, and the chat session will be recorded for viewing afterwards was well.
Simon will discuss the types of tools and clay he uses but you can use your own tools and clay.

Prior Sculpting Experience:
Prior traditional sculpting experience will help but is NOT required. If you draw or sculpt digitally and have some basic knowledge on human anatomy,
you will do fine in this class. Simon will adjust his teaching based on each student's skill level.

Cancellation / Refund Policy
NOTE: Should class quota be met when you made your payment, your fees can either be refunded to you
in full or deferred to the next class/workshop offering at your discretion.
However, if spacing is available when you made your payment then the fees become non-refundable
and can only be deferred to future class / workshop / product purchase should you be unable to attend.
All outstanding credits must be redeemed within 4 months from payment date.

Should Simon need to cancel any or all of the sessions for whatever reason,
your full or remaining balance will be
refunded to you accordingly.
